ACVC Summer Series
Happening at Mission Bay Beach in Auckland, this beach volleyball training series is made for beginners. This is a perfect getaway for those of you looking for something you can participate in while you are out on a holiday. This is open to people of all ages who are diehard fans of beach volleyball. Training will start from the basics. From there, you will be able to improve your sand skills in no time. Individual sessions are also available and can be scheduled accordingly. Expect warm-up physical exercises, tactical knowledge, and a variety of drills to be included in your training with FIVB coach Dani. The series started last February 13 and training are held every Sunday, thereafter, until the 3rd of March, 2019. Intermediate beach volleyball trainings are also being conducted in line with the ACVC Summer Series.
Social Badminton
If you are out with your friends to a vacation in Auckland, you might want to check schedules for the Social Badminton being held at the West Wave Recreation Centre. This activity will run for eight weeks starting 27th of February until the 3rd of April, 2019. Sessions are played by doubles. Do not worry if you need to go to the place alone. Darts Night

Devonport JETS Run
Already on its eighth year, this popular sporting event in Auckland is now opening for the first time, the 10km route, in addition to the respective 3km and 5km waterfront routes that it had in its previous schedules. A timed and marshalled sporting event, registering for this activity will entitle you to an electrolyte drink for free. You can also win a lot of prizes if you rank on top of other runners. Available schedules are up until April 3, 2019 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Torpedo Bay Navy Museum.
Broderick Print Summer Swim Series
Spending summer by the beach is a must when in Auckland for a holiday. Why not try a different adventure by registering for the Broderick Print Summer Swim Series? This weekly water swim event is open for all ages and begun last November 1, 2018. The last instalment of this 18-week series will be on the 7th of March, 2019. Happening at the Kohimarama Beach, late registration is welcome from 5 pm to 6 pm on the said activity dates.
Jump Class
The Gravity NZ Trampoline Park is open every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 28th of February to 11th of April 2019 to teach basics to advanced classes when jumping on the tramp. The beginners classes starts from 4pm to 5pm while intermediate classes are scheduled from 5pm to 6pm. Advanced classes are slated from 6pm to 7pm on the said schedules. These sessions are suitable for people of all ages from those aged 5 and above. Learn the basics, try some tricks, and push yourselves further depending on the skill level that you have when jumping on the tramp.
Somervell Indoor Bowls
When you are out on a holiday in Auckland and you want to try something new, you can spend one Thursday afternoon at the Somervell Presbyterian Church from 1:15 to 3:45 PM and enjoy Indoor Bowls. Share this moment with your friends and loved ones or play with others present in the venue. Enjoy a cup of your favourite tea during breaks. Do not worry if you have not tried playing this sport before. Someone is there to happily teach you the basics of the sport. You can also relax while watching others play. Sessions are held every Thursday until June 13, 2019.
Seaweek
Exploring the Okura Estuary and Karepiro Bay is a lot of fun with the Seaweek happening at the Okura Boat Ramp from March 2 to 3, 2019. This spectacular event will give you a great view of the council reserves, native bush, and historic buildings all around Silverdale. You also have the chance to see the rarest seabird species, flying fish, and stingrays cruising under the kayak. This tour is suitable for children who are 11 years and older. Bring swimming clothes with you.
Summer Golf Pop Up
Happening at Pulman Park on the 3rd and 10th of March, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm, Summer Golf Pop Up is a golf activity open for people of all ages. This is sponsored by New Zealand Golf, together with Maxwells Golf Club, Pukehoke Golf Club, and Whitford Park Golf Club. A perfect activity for the entire family wanting to learn new skills, this event will also be a great time to play with friends. Registration is free.
Indoor Soccer Special
If there are Indoor Bowls in Somervell, there is also an Indoor Soccer Special in YMCA Auckland City. Happening every Tuesday, the event will last until 26th of March 2019. You can enter a team of soccer players by registering or you can simply watch the event and enjoy the rest of the show. The Indoor Soccer Men’s League comes with a fee. Register your team early and snap up discounts.
